ARM - english page![]() The Association for Responsible Mining, ARM, is an independent, global-scale effort, and pioneer initiative, created as an international and multi-institutional organization to bring credibility, transparency and legitimacy to the development of a framework for Responsible artisanal and small-scale mining. Website: http://www.communitymining.org ![]() To undertake this process, ARM has received funding from NOVIB and from CYTED, the Iberoamerican Programe for Science and Technology (www.cyted.org). RESPOMIN, the Network for Responsible Mining, will be coordinated by ARM in partnership with the University of Antioquia (Colombia) and the Foundation Amigos del Chocó, (member of the Green-Gold Corporation). This network involves over 30 researchers, practitioners, government officials and miner’s organizations in Latin America, who will work on the development of a draft framework for social and environmental responsibility applicable to artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM).
